She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Plumlee and Ethel Plumlee; her husband Wayne Simpkins; and her siblings, Wesley Plumlee, Rosalene Bassett, Troy Plumlee and Ronald Plumlee.
She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia Cox (Howard Cox); her brothers, Howard Plumlee and Donald Plumlee; her grandchildren, Amy Lindsey (Alan Lindsey) and Dustin Cox (Alicia Cox); and her great grandchildren, Katherine, Jackson Lindsey, Ava and Benjamin Cox.
