It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Evalyn Kay Meers of Fort Worth, Texas, who passed away on March 31, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Brinkley Roberts (WB) and Evelyn Roberts (David Meers III); her son David Meers IV; her siblings-in-law, Norma Ferris and Jerry Kile; her niece Carrey Ferris Lacina; and her nephew Norman Ferris.
She is survived by: her husband David Meers III; her children, Jana Marshall (Dwayne) and William Meers (Barbara); her grandchildren, Matt Marshall (Hanna), Mindie Elrod (Mark), Megan Thompson (Kevin), Todd Marshall and Nicolle Paschall (Clint); her great grandchildren, Ethan, Katelyn, Griffin Thompson and Solomon Elrod; and her sister Diane Kile.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Cross City Church (1000 W Airport Fwy, Euless, TX 76039). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family has asked in lieu of flowers that you consider sending a gift to honor Mama Kay's Legacy of generosity as she was well-known for giving to those in need.
