He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Garrett Reavis; and his parents, Elmer Reavis and Francis Richards Reavis. He is survived by: his children, David Reavis (Stacy) and Sallye Reavis McDowell (Robert); his grandchildren, Ryan Reavis, Sara Reavis Hinkle (Scott), Garrett Reavis (Ashley), Ellie Reavis and Megan McDowell; and his great grandchildren, Camden Reavis, Reese Hinkle and Ramsee Hinkle.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Greenwood Funeral Home (3344 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Funeral Greenwood's Live Oak Chapel (3100 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107). A burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at the Greenwood Memorial Park (3100 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107).
