It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Ann Provost Lofton of Fort Worth, Texas, born in Jeanerette, Louisiana, who passed away on January 22, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Alfred Provost; her husband Henry Lofton; her brother Raymond Provost, Sr.; and her son-in-law Rancesom Wise. She is survived by: her mother Gertrude Provost; her children, Francheska Wise, Karl Lofton (Brenda), Jennifer Lofton Sawyer and Kathryn Lofton Allen; her grandchildren, Rancesom Wise Jr. (Crechena), Tonya Lofton Dallas (Donald), Christiane Wise, Adrian Allen, Sean Allen (Stacy), Bryant Lofton, Eric Lofton (Karin) and Kyndal Lofton; her great grandchildren, Ryan Wise, Randi Wise, Kelli Wise, Donald Dallas II, DuByron Edwards, Nicholas Lewis, Loren Lewis, Adrienne Allen, Alexandria Allen, Maliah Allen, Kylah Allen, Elijah Allen and Jayden Lofton; and her great great grandchildren, Jayda Dallas and Danielle Dallas. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, special cousins, relatives, and friends.
