She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles D. Durant and Mary Elizabeth Durant (Gill); her husband Kenneth Blue; her siblings, Sonny Durant (Pat), Dan Durant, Gene Durant and Sue Coplin (Ken "Cope"); her daughter-in-law Sheryl Blue; and her nephew Dan Durant.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Blue of Grandview and Kevin Blue (Sandy) of Sansom Park, Texas.; her grandsons, Christopher Blue (Catrice) of Quinlan and Jason Blue of Quinlan, Texas.; her great grandchildren, Christina Blue of Keene and Becky Blue (Brandon) of Goose Creek; her great great grandchildren, Adrianna, Benjamin of Goose Creek and Traci of Quinlan, Texas.; her brother Pete Durant (Nona); and her sister-in-law Sandra Durant of Fittstown, Oklahoma. She is also survived by 11 nephews, 2 nieces, and numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (8801 Jacksboro Hwy, Lakeside, TX 76135). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
