He was predeceased by: his parents, Olen Greer and Evelyn Wallin (Merl) of Grapevine; his former wife Oleta of Flower Mound; and his sister Helen Austin (Raymond) of Justin, Texas.. He is survived by: his wife Winnie June Greer; his daughters, Dana Cay (Kurt Spoonemore) and Lana Kim (Michael Goff); his grandchildren, Hayley, Jacob Degitz, Hanna, Filimon Miranda, Kevin Spoonemore and Sam Spoonemore; and his great grandchildren, Grayson Richard and Wyatt Greer Degitz. He is also survived by two daughters, six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
