He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Jackson and Evelyn Maples; and his siblings, Earl Jr., Gail Mayer and Nancy Reynolds.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Maples; his daughters, Melissa Everidge and Christina Maples; his granddaughter Ashley Thomas (Ryan); and his sisters, Jane Worthington (Don) and Melinda Cowger (Paul). He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sandburg Room, Mount Olivet Chapel - Greenwood Funeral (2301 N Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76111). A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the Mount Olivet Cemetery (2301 N Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76111).
