He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Mae Collins; his parents, Charles Guy Collins and Effie Headley; and his siblings, Billy Collins (Jane), Darrell "Dude" Collins, Edwin Collins, Sue Collins and Helen Collins Whitehead.
He is survived by: his son Mike Collins; his granddaughter Stephanie Anne McLain (Chris); his great grandchildren, Madison McLain, Collin McLain, Savannah McLain and Ellamae McLain; his siblings, JD Collins and Joyce Collins Haygood; his sisters-in-law, Charlene Ohm and Kathy Allred; his nephew Greg Ohm; his niece Melissa Ohm Martel; his great-nephew Blake Ohm (Shane Martel); his great-niece Bailey Ohm Hall (Matt); and also Josie Hall.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sandburg Room, Mount Olivet Chapel - Greenwood Funeral (2301 N Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76111). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Funeral Mount Olivet Chapel - Greenwood Funeral Homes and Cremation (2301 N Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76111). A burial will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at the Mount Olivet Cemetery (2301 N Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76111).
