He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford W. Blackwell, Sr. and Catherine Calamease Blackwell; and his siblings, Lewis Blackwell, Sr. and Lillian Blackwell. He is survived by: his wife Grace; his children, Derek W. Blackwell (Cassie), Rhonda R. Blackwell-Grey and Clifford W. Blackwell, III; his sister Wanda Alexander (George); his grandchildren, Ma'at Imara Kai Blackwell, Carter Immanuel Blackwell, Larkin Skye Blackwell, Harlow Joy Blackwell, Piper Grace Blackwell and Richard Reginal Blackwell; and his nieces and nephews, Kimberley, Colandra Blackwell, Patrice, Alicia Alexander, Lewis Blackwell, Jr. and Lawrence Smith, III. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and cousins.
