She was predeceased by: her father John E. Deal. She is survived by: her mother Diann Deal; her husband Carl Grimes; her children, Collins Grimes, Dylan Grimes, Ashley Grimes and Cartina Grimes; her grandson Amhaud Grimes; her siblings, Adrianne (John), Jennifer Deal (Lentrell Jordan) and John Deal; her aunts and uncles, Shinisy, Betty Deal (Willie), Gloria Price, Edward Hampton and Irving Deal (Jackie); and her close friend Temeshia "Meme" Elie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews who loved her dearly. cousin, great cousins.
