She was predeceased by: her parents, Charley Lee York and Ellen Louise York (Pigg); her husband Kenneth Whalen; and her son-in-law Kevin Smith. She is survived by: her former husband Charles Edward Cranshaw; her son Charles W. Cranshaw (Mitzi) of Mansfield; her grandchildren, Jody Smith of Palestine, Texas, Kevin Lee Smith of Lubbock, Kyle Dee Smith of Austin and Christina Nicole Cranshaw of Dallas, Texas; and her great grandchildren, Hannah of Lubbock, Texas., Ella of Lubbock, Texas. and Norah Smith of Lubbock, Texas..

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors - Whitney (201 N Bosque St, Whitney, TX 76692). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Vaughan Cemetery.
