Billy Marvin McLendon Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 19, 2024, at the age of 84, Billy Marvin McLendon (Fort Worth, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin McLendon and Sibyl McLendon; and his siblings, Jerry McLendon and Joan Troxell. He is survived by: his wife Norma McLendon; his son Steven (Jana McLendon); his grandchildren, Brandon McLendon, Hannah McLendon and Colton McLendon; his nieces, Lisa Guthrie (Glen Guthrie), Lana Molder (Jerry Molder) and Tarina Mason (Jimmy Mason); and his nephew Tracy Troxell (Janice Troxell). He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews; extended families.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Hurst (521 W Pipeline Rd, Hurst, TX 76053). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at the Mount Olivet Cemetery (2301 N Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76111).
MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Compassus Hospice, First United Methodist Church Hurst, and Toys For Tots.
