She is survived by: her husband Floyd Banks; her daughter Karen Slaughter; her grandchildren, Lauren Sargent and Leeah Riddle (Chris Riddle); her great grandchildren, Caleb Sargent, Isaac Sargent, Zaylen Blankenship and Abel Riddle; and her brother Calvin Smith.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Martin Thompson & Son Funeral Home (6009 Wedgwood Dr, Fort Worth, TX 76133). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
