With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Gail Downs in Fort Worth, Texas, who passed away on March 28, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ross Jackson Dobbins and Junanita Velma Dobbins (Trull); and her husband Eddie Wayne Downs. She is survived by: her children, Debbie Downs Strickland (Jim), Rickey Downs (Terry) and Chuck Downs (Lisa); and her grandchildren, Jarrett, Brittany, Ross, Ashley, Preston, Aaron, Michael, Cody, Shannon and Sandra. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wiley Funeral Home & Cremation Services – Granbury (400 W US Hwy 377, Granbury, TX 76048). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
