She is survived by: her husband Don Alvin Jewett Sr.; her children, Don Jewett Jr., Katrina Jewett Hammons and Anthony Jewett; and her grandchildren, Andrew Hammons and Alexandria Anne Hammons. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Her contributions to community service were also recognized with a Certificate of Recognition from Awareness Magazine in 1994.
