She was predeceased by: her parents, Rey Vaughn Kingsfield and Elizabeth Rives; her husband Eugene Upshaw; her sisters, Neva Phillips and Lanelle Fillingim; and her grandson Bryan Slawson.
She is survived by: her daughter Sue Grona (Gary) of Nashville, TN; her grandchildren, Kayci Harvey (Justin) of Markham, TX and Trey Slawson (Candace) of Elk Grove, CA; and her great grandchildren, Seth, Sam Slawson, Abigail, Sydney Slawson and Hudson Harvey.
