He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Martinez and Maria Martinez; and his siblings, Juan P. Martinez and Margaret Macintosh. He is survived by: his wife Guadalupe Martinez; his children, Manuel Martinez, Jr. (Belie) of Midland, Jimmy Martinez (Dora) of Midland, Sammy Martinez of San Antonio, Eddie Martinez (Mari) of San Antonio and Cindy Munoz (Peter) of Fort Stockton; and his brother Jose Martinez (Joe). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren.
