He was predeceased by: his father Jose Maria Cordero, Jr. (Joe); his grandparents, Ester, Refugio Ramos, Sr., Ysabel and Jose; and his nephew Patrick Paul Dupre.
He is survived by: his mother Gregoria Ramos Cordero; his sisters, Gloria Diana Cowin of Round Rock and Rosie Garcia (Camilo Palacios) of Midland; his nephews, Jerry Moore of Round Rock, Joey, Cassy Garcia of Midland, Chris and Nathan Garcia of Midland; his niece Ana Garcia of Fort Worth; and his aunts, Esperanza Jimenez of Odessa and Gloria Navarrette of El Paso. He is also survived by three great nephews and two great nieces.
