It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Carpenter (Fort Stockton, Texas), born in Anthony, New Mexico, who passed away on July 8, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Carpenter and Velma Carpenter; his wife Barbara Puckett; his son Lawrence Carpenter; and his grandchild Cheyenne Johnson.

He is survived by: his brother Frank Carpenter; and his grandchildren, Kaleb Johnson and Jacob Johnson.
