It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jo Ann Miller (Fort Stockton, Texas), born in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on January 1, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Lee Burkhardt and Viola Mae Burkhardt; her husband Charles Neil Miller; her brother Daniel Marvin Starr; and her great grandchild Gracie Mae Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Miller (Dan Wartman), Doug Miller (Sheron) of Monahans, Beverly Ammann (Steve) of George West, Charlie Miller (Gail) of Lamesa and Carol Gonzalez (Alex) of Fort Stockton; her sister Betty Collavo of Fort Collins, Colorado; her sister-in-law Betty Starr of Bryan; her grandchildren, Sandra Barnett, Tammy Halfacre, Carrie Johnson, Candice Pedraza, Rachel Doran, Alison Miller, Kristi Bradley, Lindsey Royal, Kyle Ammann, Bryan Rainwater, Blake Miller, Brennan Miller, Alec Milam and Summer McCloskey; and her nephews, Austin Collavo and Travis Collavo. She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
