It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Capers of Fort Stockton, Texas, born in Monahans, Texas, who passed away on August 25, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, S. T. Capers and Reta Capers; his brother Roy Capers; and his children, Karen Capers-Clinton and Matt.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Capers; his stepsons, Kevin Weatherby (Kammie) and Jason Weatherby (Marcie); his brother Freddie Capers (Terry); and his sister-in-law Shirley Capers of Alamogordo, NM. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and one great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
