She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Dwight Dwayne Johnston; her brother Mario Ramos; her children, Joe Adrian (Debbie Ortega) of Alexandra, Louisiana. and Judy (Jimmy Gonzales) of Bryan, Texas.; her grandchildren, Manuela, Hanna, Christian, Adrianna, Roman, Hope, Faith, Devon, Jimmy Jr. and Elizabeth; her mother Lucia Ramos King of College Station; her half-brother Robert Ortega; her siblings-in-law, Curtis Johnston, Billie Logan and Roze Finley; and her stepchildren, Alexis, Mookie, Dwight Jr. and La Quenton.
She died from complications of COVID at Baylor Scott & White Hospital where she cared for those who were ill.
