He is survived by: his significant other Mary Ruiz; his children, Laura Ruiz Chao of Miami, Fontilla Ruiz (Fonty) of San Antonio, Liz (Betzabel Garcia) and Frankie Ruiz Jr. of Fort Stockton, Texas; his grandchildren, Briana Gonzales, Reuben Gutierrez, Raul Chao, Giancarlo Garcia, Ivan Chao, Tre Weaver, Mario Chao, Monica Chao and Gabrian; his great grandchildren, Araly, Kaynin and Yaneli; and his siblings, Alicia Jimenez, Belinda Carrillo, Eva Riojas, Daniel Ruiz, Fabian Ruiz, David Ruiz, Martin Ruiz, Henry Duarte, Luis Ruiz, Lupe Ruiz, Lorenzo Ruiz, Mario Ruiz and Esmeralda Gutierrez.
