He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Tavarez Sr. and Rita Gomez Tavarez; and his brother Pedro Tavarez Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Nikki Davlin and Daven Tavarez; his sisters, Maria Rangel (Refugio), Frances Lopez (Ricardo) and Marcela Ramirez (Rick); and his sister-in-law Benita Tavarez. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
