She was predeceased by: her parents, Leopaldo Martinez and Maria Ledesma Martinez; her husband Leonard W. Smith; and her siblings, Manuel Martinez, Maria Belia Martinez Hernandez and Amelia Martinez.
She is survived by: her son Richard Smith (Glenda) of Hewitt Texas; her brother Robert Martinez of San Antonio, Texas; her grandchildren, Gabrielle and Gena Smith; and her great grandchild Jeremiah Ryan.
