It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Carpenter of Fort Stockton, Texas, born in Enid, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 23, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Albert Brown and Mabel Louella Bullock Brown; her brothers, Gilford, John and Stanley Brown; her nephew Larry Carpenter; her great-niece Cheyenne Johnson; her daughter Linda Carpenter Stoner; and her husband Frank.

She is survived by: her children, Steven Francis Carpenter (Melody Enns Carpenter) and Velma Kay Campbell; her sons-in-law, Steve Campbell of Fort Stockton and James Stoner of Fort Stockton; her grandchildren, Laura Stoner Thorton (James) of Fort Stockton, Denise Meirhoff (Frank) of Fort Stockton, Jacob Campbell of Saginaw, TX, Ben Campbell (Jessica) of Colorado City, TX and Dan Campbell of Fort Stockton, TX.; her great grandchildren, Kayden Stoner, Zoe Baker, Jessica Meierhoff, Ciara Meirhoff and Ashlyn Meirhoff; her niece Maura Carpenter; her great-nephews, Jacob of Fort Stockton, TX. and Kayden Johnson of Fort Stockton, TX.; and her nieces and nephews, Jay, John Brown, Kyle and Tricia Brown.
