“My condolences to the Mason family. I worked with Roger at NOAA in Silver Spring, MD and had hoped to visit him in Windcrest after I moved to Schertz, TX upon my retirement but COVID prevented that. I'm back in MD and am sad I missed the opportunity. Roger was good man, devoted husband, and dedicated worker who was very passionate about his assignments. I used to sit in his office and chat about different things, then I'd walk away so much wiser from all the knowledge he shared with me.”
