He is survived by: his wife Jeanne M Brookens; his children, Sidney Renee Brookens and Michael DuJuan Brookens; his grandchildren, Jaylen, Natalia, Myles and Zyon Brookens; his siblings, Florence Eaton, Tina (Jay Johnson) and Mark Brookens; and his sisters-in-law, Judy (Michael Burke) and Joyce Kimble.
