He was predeceased by: his stepson Daniel L. Bunch; and his father George R. Hulgan. He is survived by: his wife Fran Hulgan; his sons, James R. Hulgan (Julia) of Austin, TX and Beau R. Hulgan (Josiane) of Austin, TX; his stepson David L. Bunch (Jenny) of Coupland, TX; his mother Helen M. Hulgan of Gardner, Kansas; his siblings, Helen M. Peterson of Olathe, KS, Merri K. Hulgan of Interlochen, MI, Michael Hulgan (Jeri) of Yellville, AK and Joe Hulgan (Liz) of Sarasota, FL.; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Cameron, Cordell, Macey, Hannah Bunch, Patrick, Alex and Bebee Hulgan.

Private Military burial will be at the Central Texas Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX .Memorial donations may be made to Never Surrender Cancer Foundation of San Saba County, Bend Methodist Children's Fund, or the charity of your choice.
