He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Caes and Genevieve Caes (Marr); his stepsons, Todd Daehn and Brad Daehn; and his siblings, Edmund, Ralph, Paul, Joseph and Sally Caes.
He is survived by: his wife Sue; his daughters, Laura Vernon (Eric), Margaret Scaparotti (TJ) and Heather Curley (Victor); his stepchildren, Robin Todd, Paul Daehn (Tina), Rodney Daehn and Eric Daehn (Nancy); and his siblings, Betty Hansen, Ben Caes and Gertrude Watts. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.
