It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Reuben Rivera of Fort Davis, Texas, who passed away on August 16, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernesto Rivera and Victorina Rivera; and his brother Ernesto Rivera of Ft. Davis. He is survived by: his wife Helen Rivera; his son Ruben Rivera (Natasha); his grandsons, Jaxon of New Braunfels, Cross of New Braunfels and Kash of New Braunfels; his daughter Lynn Simpson; his son-in-law John A. Simpson; his grandchildren, John Simpson and Jennifer Simpson of Batesville, TX; his daughter Victoria Rivera-Avalos; his son-in-law Avalos; his grandson Michael Austin (Courtney Austin); his great grandchild Chase Austin; his grandchildren, James Austin and Alivia Sutton of Elizabeth City, NC; and his sister Annie Lou Arispe (George).
Reuben is being cremated and no physical memorial will be held at this time due to Covid.
