We are sad to announce that on April 2, 2023, at the age of 90, John William Ward of Fort Davis, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Irby and Cora Ellie Ward (Cole); his significant other Anna Beth of Denver City; and his siblings, Irma, Charlotte, Francis and Charles.

He is survived by: his spouse Greg Henington; his grandson Burke Jay Matinez; and his sisters, Ruth, Ann and Beth. He is also survived by one great-great-grandchild.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Jeff Davis County Food Pantry in Fort Davis (432.426.3886).
