She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Jenkins and Bessie Iola Jenkins (Glenn); her husband Oscar F Shinpaugh; her son Tony Curtis Hitt; and her siblings, Louise Lanham, Ruth Duff, Eva Almond, Viola Daniels, Sam Jenkins, Claude Jenkins, Jr. and Bobby Jenkins.
She is survived by: her sons, Oscar Dwayne Shinpaugh (Wendy) of Waxahachie and Floyd Layne Shinpaugh (Stephanie) of Waxahachie; her granddaughter Holly Beth Shinpaugh of Alvord, Texas; her sons, Macey Brooke Shinpaugh (Jordan Gutierrez) of Corsicana, Texas, Jonathan Layne Shinpaugh (Hannah) of Royce City, Texas and Madison Kate Munoz (Miguel) of Waxahachie, Texas; and her great grandchildren, Elizabeth Crosby, Holtin Wayne Elrod, Charlotte Elise Gutierrez and Liam Jameson Shinpaugh.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home Chapel (511 W Main St, Waxahachie, TX 75165). A graveside service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Waxahachie City Cemetery (300 S Hawkins St, Waxahachie, TX 75165).
