With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Terry Joseph Smith of Forney, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 16, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dudley Leon Smith and Alice Elizabeth Smiers (Betty); and his brother William Thomas Smith. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Jenkins Smith of Forney, TX; his children, Brian Ray Smith of Little Elm, TX, Whitney (Jacob Huffman) of Forney, TX and Megan (Jason Quillin) of Wylie, TX; his granddaughter Zoe (John Kuykendall) of Irving, TX; his close friends, Jayden Allen, Zayn Quillin, Caden Allen, Gavon Jackson and Ryker Huffman; and his sisters, Sandra Lehner of Denison, TX, Barbara Byerly of Denison, TX, Alice Gouge of Denison, TX, Anita Stephenson of Sherman, TX and Robbin Fox of Kemp, OK.. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fisher Funeral Home Chapel (604 W Main St, Denison, TX 75020).
