He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Juanita, Eddy Zamora, Felipe and Dominga Esquivel. He is survived by: his mothers, Luz Esquivel and Linda Esquivel; his brother Jimmy Esquivel; his niece Danielle Joseph; his nephew Joshua Esquivel; and his godparents, William and JoAnn Esquivel. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Cotton Bowl Foundation in Salvador's memory, a gesture honoring his love for sports and his spirit of giving.
