Oleta Potter Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Oleta Potter in Forney, Texas, born in Madisonville, Texas, who passed away on October 3, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Oleta departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Oleta may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Oleta leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Potter; and her sons, Larry and Kenneth Jr.. She is survived by: her brother J. B. Whearley; and her grandchildren, Ashley Pyle, Michelle Bradshaw, Lowell Potter and Kenny Potter.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to The Alzheimer's Association.
