She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorene Kirk Tharp and Leroy Lavell Tharp; and her brothers, Otis Tharp, William Glenn Tharp and Buster Tharp.
She is survived by: her husband John Michael Liebreich; her daughters, Bonnie Liebreich Gradt (Jason) and Michelle Lynn Liebreich Madden (Matt); her sisters, Ruanne Miller (Barbara McBride) and Barbara McBride; and her grandchildren, Mary Gradt, Kaitlynn Gradt, Jason Gradt Jr., Michael Madden, MarLeigh Madden and Mason Madden.
In Lieu of flowers, Family requests donations to be made in honor of Katy's grandson Jason Jr. to The Down Syndrome Guild of Dallas.
