He is survived by: his mother Diana Lakey Short of Paris; his wife Susan Chandler Short; his father Bill Short; his stepsons, Wade Willhite and Garrett Willhite; his siblings, Billie Anderson (Michael) of Paris and Mark Short of Paris; his parents-in-law, Jerry Chandler (Lana) of Paris and Carolyn Chandler of Forney; and his nieces, Jacie Anderson and Mylee Anderson.
