Poenitz-Belz; his wife Anna May Belz; his stepson Larry Schenk; his siblings, Gideon Belz, Ruby Lee Belz and Violet Bishop; his siblings-in-law, Floyd Bishop, Bob Argo, Homer Kirk and Gloria Belz; his nieces, Suzan Lewis and Melanie Belz; and his nephew Greg Kirk (Missy).
He is survived by: his children, Buettina Kay Belz Mclaughlin (Darel Ray Belz) of Royse City, TX. and Darel Ray Belz (Pamela Belz) of Forney, TX; his grandchildren, Aaron McLaughlin (Tiffany Black McLaughlin), Amy Blake (David Blake), Christina Wade, Ashly Sanders (Brett Sanders), Darel R. Belz II and Larry Schenk Jr.; his great grandchildren, Hollis and Hayden Blake; his grandchildren, Deaken, Hudson, Owen McLaughlin, Tyler, Austin Wade, Savannah, Saylor Sanders and Blaise Keller Hernandez; and his siblings, Vernell Argo of Collinsville, TX, Annie Kirk of Arlington, Lee Roy Belz of Chico, TX, Daniel Belz (Barbara) of Huntsville, TX, David Belz of Gainesville, TX, Glenn Belz (Debra Belz) of Grand Prairie, TX, Fred Belz (Johnette Belz) of Arlington, TX and Thelma Belz of Arlington, TX. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home (602 Lindsay St, Gainesville, TX 76240). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
