It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Don Maddin of Forney, Texas, born in Vernon, Texas, who passed away on August 21, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alma Maddin and Earl Maddin; and his siblings, Charles Maddin and Anita Maddin Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Jo Lynn Maddin; his daughters, Kelley Clay (Randy) and Karrie Pharris (Greg); his grandchildren, Kaleb Clay (Michelle), Josh Clay, Daniel Clay (Lauren), Micah Clay (Kim), Ragan Pharris (Joel Warren) and Reed Pharris; his great grandchildren, Kendall, Kennedy, Avery, Noah, Smith, Henry, Penny, Hudson and Madelynn; his sister Mary Jo Maddin of Wichita Falls; and his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Maddin and Genie Henderson (Bill Henderson). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends.
