She was predeceased by: her parents, William Neel and Gennela Bryant Neel; and her brothers, Larry and Richard Jennings. She is survived by: her husband Don Bland of Forney, Texas; her children, James Bland (Diana) of Austin and Donna McKean (Sean) of Little Rock, Arkansas; and her grandchildren, Tiffany Fassett (Patrick), Kyle McKean (Keiley), Kayla Cobb (Jeffrey) and Paris Bland. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren; as well as seven siblings.
