He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Clay and Edythe Mildred; his wife Tootie; and his children, Shawn Ashpaugh (Neal), Dr. Walter Gadberry, Gavin (Laura Gadberry) and Garth (Faye Gadberry). He was also cherished by 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
