He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Smith and Una Smith; and his sister Judy Smith. He is survived by: his brothers, David and Marvin Smith; his mother-in-law Kathryn Ray; and his children, Michael (Glenda Smith), Kristi (Jarrod Dugger) and Brad (Mistie Smith). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
