He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Herbert "Shine" Stephens and Margaret Lisenby Stephens; his wife Joanie Stephens; his daughter Amy Causey; his son-in-law Si Causey; his son Tye Stephens; his siblings, Bobby Herbert Stephens (Donna) and Cheryl Ward; his siblings-in-law, Kenny Barton and Olivia Barton; and his nieces and nephews, Kirk Stephens (Wendi), Joel Stephens (Kara), Jana Ward, Stacy Ward (Jill), Paka Horen (DJ) and Paul Barton (Jerri).
