She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Garrett and May Garrett; and her sister Frances Ruth LLoyd. She is survived by: her husband William D. "Bill" Hardin; her daughter Rosemary (Jim Finley); her grandsons, Jesse Finley (Amy) and Robert Finley; her great grandchildren, James and Aria; her sister Edith Muncy; and her nieces, Penny (Mike Giesecke), Pam (Russ Jones) and Kitty Dilliard (Jerry). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
