He was predeceased by: his mother Ruth Smitherman. He is survived by: his significant other Mildred Bean; his sons, Marc (Michele) of Maryville, TN and Monty of Silverton; his grandson Jake (Erika) of Knoxville, TN; his brother Larry (Marlene) of Austin, TX; and his niece K'lyn of Austin.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Baptist Church- Floydada (401 S Main St, Floydada, TX 79235). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
