She was predeceased by: her father Abel, Sr. Vasquez; her grandparents, Roberto C., Elvira L Rodriquez, Luis and Juanita Vasquez; her aunts, Anna Rivera and Irene Rodriquez; her great-aunt Beatris Banda; her nephew Elijah Lopez; her cousins, Arturo Rivera, Jr. and Barbara Olmos; and her pet Maximus.
She is survived by: her mother Maria Vasquez of Floydada; her children, Lourie Garcia (Mark) of Lockney and Evan Ybarra (Kimberly Rios) of Lockney; her grandchildren, Khloe and Aaron Ybarra; her close friend Joe Guerrero of Floydada; her siblings, Brenda Maldonado (David Ramos, Jr.) of Floydada, Abelina Vasquez (Frank Ascencio) of Lockney and Abel Xavier Vasquez (Sonya Guzman) of Plainview; her uncles, Juan Rodriquez (Velma) of Floydada, Robert Rodriquez, Jr. of Floydada, Lucio Vasquez of Plainview and Ricky Vasquez (Iida) of Lubbock; her aunt Virginia Vasquez of San Antonio, Texas; and her pets, Zero, Titus and Mike. She is also survived by five nephews, two nieces and one great-niece.
