It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margarita Martinez (Floydada, Texas), born in Sandia, Texas, who passed away on October 22, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lydia Leal and Cirildo Leal; her husband Jimmy Martinez of Quitaque; her children, Delma Ibarra (Rudy) of Quitaque, Melinda Bazaldua (Valente) of Canyon, Rene and Reuben Martinez of Quitaque; her grandchildren, Aaron Martinez (Adrianna), Aubrey Teague (Matthew), Christian and Ava Grace; and her great grandchild Liam Aaron. She was also cherished by three brothers, one sister and a niece.
