John Redding Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 3, 2021 we had to say goodbye to John Redding of Floydada, Texas, born in Roaring Springs, Texas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Redding and Dorothy Redding (Anderson); and his siblings, Doyle, Roy, Zelma and Hazel.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Dunavant of Floydada; his close friend Julie; his children, Rebecca Bertleson (Lee) of Plainview and Matthew Redding (Nicole) of Keller, Texas; his grandchildren, Katelyn, Reagan, Emma, John Robert and Henry; his sister Faye Poynor (Haney) of Lubbock; and his sister-in-law Joyce Redding of Crosbyton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in John's memory may by made to the Plains Art Association/Abraham Arts Gallery, Plainview, Texas.
