He was predeceased by: his parents, John Charles Collins (Johnnie) and Marjorie Ann Grimes Collins. He is survived by: his friends, Kevin and Connie Thomas; his wife Lu Ann; his sons, John Steele Collins of Lubbock and James Lindsay Collins of Floydada; his adoptive son Christopher Neal (Anna) of Palestine, Texas; his sister Cathy Kubacak of Lubbock; and his nephews, Anthony, Jason and Matthew Kubacak.
The family has designated memorial contributions in Mike's memory to the Floydada Senior Citizens.
